  • Communications information: inquiries, emails sent to or received from us, and newsletter engagement

We collect personal information primarily through registration forms, application forms, surveys, event check-ins, online platforms, and direct communications. Where you voluntarily provide links to publicly available professional profiles (such as LinkedIn), we may obtain and use career history and related professional information contained in those profiles.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information unless permitted by law and strictly necessary.

We do not provide personal information to third parties without prior consent, except where permitted under the APPI, including:

  • When required by laws or regulations

  • When necessary to protect a person’s life, body, or property, and it is difficult to obtain consent

  • When particularly necessary to improve public health or promote the sound growth of children

  • When cooperating with national or local government bodies or their contractors in performing legally prescribed duties

In addition, personal information of event participants (such as name, affiliation, role, or professional profile information) may be shared with event partners or sponsors where such sharing is relevant to the operation, sponsorship, or objectives of a specific event or initiative.

We may also entrust the handling of personal information, in whole or in part, to service providers (such as event platforms, IT vendors, analytics tools, or communication services) within the scope necessary to achieve the stated purposes. We exercise appropriate supervision over such service providers.

As the Community operates internationally, personal information may be handled by service providers or partners located outside Japan.   • Correction, addition, or deletion of personal data

  • Suspension of use, deletion, or cessation of provision to third parties
